Hi! PARIS Student Conference on AI

for students and by students

The Binet IA is organizing a conference for students from IP Paris, HEC Paris, and the broader Hi! PARIS ecosystem to submit, share, and present their AI projects to the community. The event is supported by Hi! PARIS, the joint center on AI between Institut Polytechnique de Paris and HEC Paris, which brings a senior academic committee of faculty members and researchers to oversee decision validation and awards.

This conference is for students and by students. It is run like a real machine-learning conference: a call for submissions, anonymous peer review on public criteria, decisions, a final-version phase, posters and oral presentations, and online publication. The submission rules are inspired by top ML conferences — NeurIPS / ICML / ICLR — and the submission format is that of the ICLR Blogposts track: a single Markdown blog post, submitted through a GitHub Pull Request and published on this website.

  • Submission Limits: Budget of 100% per author — 1 solo project, up to 2 projects in a pair, or up to 3 projects in a trio.
  • Eligible Content: Broad AI research (machine learning, statistics, optimization, AI for Science, robotics, interpretability, generative AI, major open-source software, lab/internship projects with authorization, and substantially extended course projects).
  • Format & Language: Written in English as a Markdown blog post (2,500–3,500 recommended words, 6,000 max) backed by a documented, licensed, public GitHub repository.
  • Peer Reviewing & Governance: Double-blind review process where every submitting author reviews two other submissions on OpenReview, with oversight from area chairs and the senior academic committee.
  • Key Deadlines: Submissions close on 7 Oct 2026, reviewing runs 12–23 Oct 2026, and decisions are announced on 5 Nov 2026.

Organizers

The Binet IA is the artificial-intelligence student association of École polytechnique. It gathers students passionate about AI around projects, talks and events throughout the year, and some of its members are leading the organization of this conference.

Hi! PARIS, the joint center of Institut Polytechnique de Paris and HEC Paris dedicated to AI and data science, supports and synchronizes the conference, bringing the expertise of its scientific committee of researchers to guide the academic evaluation.
